NYC Ballet Opens its Heart to Children with Physical Challenges Watch this short video about this story. Sometimes all you have to do is just ask.  One mom, all she did was ask and then 19 children with disabilities got to dance at Lincoln Center with the   NYC Ballet! It turned out to be a wonderful experience for the teachers and the students!

Gem City Ballet offers an inventive way for children with physical challenges to develop their motor skills with dance and stretching. This Ohio dance studio is helping children with their program called "DancingUnlimited" with a focus on music and movement. This program that began in 1998 is comprised of 21 young dancers ranging in ages 12-18 who take turns running the class which is supervised by a physical therapist. Some of the kids are in wheelchairs, some with walkers or crutches. The children's dance movements are based on their abilities.
