A Water New Therapy Facility for Children

A Water Therapy facility for children with disabilities opens in NJ.




The Lakewood School in Edison, New Jersey had a grand opening this week for their new Hydrotherapy Pool.

Often we hear how good being in a swimming pool is for injuries. This seems like a natural therapy for children with physical challenges.

"Our new Aquatic Center revolutionizes rehabilitation for children with disabilities," Ursino said. "No other school — public or private — in New Jersey offers its students access to such a sophisticated engineering marvel as our new hydrotherapy pool. We truly believe that every child can learn and every child should have the best chance to achieve their personal fulfillment."

The Relationship between Plagiocephaly and Torticollis. Stretches and Manipulation To understand the relationship between plagiocephaly and torticollis you need to know what each of them is. Babies can be born with both conditions. Sometimes one can cause the other and vice versa. Plagiocephaly presents itself with an asymmetrically shaped head, one side being more flat than the other side. Torticollis is a shortened neck muscle causing a head tilt.
